It is a known fact that the Dragon Ball series has been a favorite of mine since I was a child. Ever since its inception in 1984, it has captured my attention and imagination with its well-developed characters and intricate plots. And now, as an adult, I am so excited to know that there will be another installment!
A little history about Dragon Ball Z
Dragon Ball Z is a fighting game that was originally developed by Banpresto and later published by Bandai Namco Entertainment, based on the Dragon Ball manga and anime series.
It was first released in Japan in February 1996 for the PlayStation. The game follows the Dragon Ball Z anime series story arc. The ultimate aim of the game is to collect seven Dragon Balls and summon Shenron to wish for a particular change such as starting a new story mode or unlocking characters.
In the very first title of the series, Dragon Ball Z: Kyōshū! Saiyan, a nefarious alien named Raditz arrives on Earth and kidnaps Goku’s son Gohan. Goku and Piccolo team up with Yamcha, Tien Shinhan, Krillin and Yajirobe to save Gohan from being brainwashed by Raditz and Vegeta.
The second title, Dragon Ball Z: Super Saiya Densetsu, the player controls Goku and must travel across Earth in order to look for six mystical orbs called the “Dragon Balls” along with his new allies Trunks and Goten. The final entry in this trilogy is called Dragon Ball Z: Idainaru Son Goku Densetsu and was released in 1997. The player must fight various enemies from the series such as Frieza, Cell and Buu.
What should we expect?
Dragon Ball FighterZ is getting a new fighter in the form of Super Saiyan Goku from Universe 18, also known as Kakarot. The update will be called “Kakarot – DLC 3” and will include a new story mode set after the events of the normal story. We have no word on when it will be released or what platforms it will come out for, but we can at least put this one on our radar!
As of now, there is no confirmation of whether Kakarot will be available to play once the update hits. But hey, if it’s anything like Hit – DLC 2, who knows? We might all get lucky and receive him for free!
Kakarot DLC 3 release date
There is no confirmed Kakarot DLC 3 release date yet, but we can expect it to come out some time in 2019. In the meantime, we can just keep playing and enjoying all of the new features that FighterZ has to offer!
How much will it cost
There is no word on how much the Kakarot DLC 3 update will cost, but we can expect it to be around the same price as the other DLC updates.

There are a few reasons why you should consider buying this DLC. Firstly, the new story mode looks like it’s going to be really interesting, and it’s always great to have more content to keep you occupied.
