Valorant is being developed by a team of 3 students in France, who are currently attending the same school. This group of passionate developers is called EAC Games. Our goal is to create an innovative game inspired from old-school games like Diablo II and Sacred. We hope you will enjoy this game as much as we do while making it.
Valorant will be a hack’n’slash, with the “action-rpg” gameplay. That means that you will have to move around and fight in real-time rather than being able to pause the action at any time to issue orders. The whole game is randomly generated from a map file, which provides for endless replayability.
How to get started with Valorant Gameplay:
To make it easier to become familiar with Valorant, we have come up with a list of things we thought would help you get started. This won’t make you an expert at playing Valorant, but will give you a broad view on what kind of gameplay experience this mod offers.
The basics of gameplay
To interact with the game world you use your mouse to move around in an area. You can also click on enemies or doors to attack them, or interact with levers and pressure plates.
What’s happening when you hit something?
Attacking something in Valorant will reveal what happens three times. The first time is when you hit the enemy, the second time is when the enemy hits you and the third time is after the enemy has died.
When you hit something, a red line will show up between you and the enemy. This line indicates how much damage you’re doing to the enemy with each hit. The further away from the center of the line your cursor is, the more damage you will do. You can also move around while attacking to keep your opponent guessing.
Valorant Ranks in Order
There are 11 ranks in Valorant which players can climb. The ranks from lowest to highest are as follows: Recruit, Private, Corporal, Sergeant, Staff Sergeant, Gunnery Sergeant, Master Sergeant, 2nd Lieutenant, 1st Lieutenant, Captain and Major.
As you rank up you will unlock new weapons and equipment. Each rank has its own equipment slots, which you can use to equip your character with. You unlock new equipment for each of the weapon types by ranking up.
Some cool things you can do in-game
Valorant has some pretty cool features which we thought you should know about. Here are some of the things you can do in-game:
- Use your environment to your advantage – The world is full of objects which you can use to your advantage in battle. For example, you can shoot arrows at enemies from a distance, or roll barrels toward them to hurt or confuse them.
- You can try out different weapons – Each weapon has strengths and weaknesses, so you’ll have to find the one that fits your style of play best. For example, a hammer is slow, but will do lots of damage if you are able to hit an enemy with it. While daggers are very quick, but don’t do as much damage as a sword.
- Use the environment to gain an advantage – You can push enemies into spikes or pits to instantly kill them, or make it easier for you to attack them. If you shoot an arrow at an enemy and hit him with it he will be down on one knee until the arrow despawns, making him an easy target.
