You can get a new phone number with a new country code to use in the App Store
If you want to change your country code but keep your current phone number, you can do this by going to the Apple ID website and signing in with your Apple ID. Tap on Country/Region and then select your new country or region. Scroll down and tap on Get a New Phone Number. You will then be able to choose a new phone number with a new country code.
You can’t change the currency on the App Store if you’re in Japan
The App Store doesn’t let you change the currency if you’re in Japan. The only way to change the currency is to create a new Apple ID with a different country or region. To do this, go to the Apple ID website and sign in with your Apple ID. Tap on Country/Region and then select your new country or region. Scroll down and tap on Create New Apple ID. You will be asked to enter your payment information. After you’ve entered your payment information, you will be able to choose a new currency for the App Store.
