2. Tap “General.”

You can get a new phone number with a new country code

If you’d like to get a new phone number with a new country code, you can do so by porting your current number to a new carrier. Check with your current carrier to see if they offer this service and what the process is. If your carrier doesn’t offer this service, or if you’re not happy with your current phone number, you can sign up for a new carrier in your desired country.

You can use local payment methods in other countries

If you’re traveling to another country, you can add a payment method from that country to your Apple ID so that you can easily make purchases while you’re there. To do this, open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad, tap on “iTunes & App Store,” tap on your Apple ID at the top of the screen, and then tap on “Sign In.” Tap on “Add Payment Method” and select the payment method you’d like to use.

You can keep your current country while using a foreign Apple ID

If you want to use a foreign Apple ID (for example, to make purchases in another country’s App Store), you can do so without changing your current country. To do this, open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad and tap on “iTunes & App Store.” Tap on your Apple ID at the top of the screen and select “Sign Out.” Select the “Use different Apple ID for iTunes and App Store” option and sign in with the foreign Apple ID you’d like to use. You’ll now be able to make purchases in the foreign App Store using that Apple ID.
